We delivered the Parramatta Light Rail LCD Displays as part of the NSW Government’s $4.3 million “Smart Street” transformation of Phillip Street, Parramatta, in 2021. These LCD Passenger Information Displays enhance the urban experience for residents, commuters, and visitors.
This initiative integrated real time information, connectivity, and safety technologies into a modern pedestrian corridor, supporting the broader Parramatta Light Rail network — a 12 km, 16-stop system connecting Westmead to Carlingford via the Parramatta CBD.
Metromatics played a key role in delivering the digital display infrastructure (LCD Displays) that underpins real time communication across this smart city environment.

The Parramatta Light Rail and Smart Street project required:

Metromatics supplied 4 × LCD Displays to serve as the Parramatta Light Rail LCD Displays. These passenger information displays were mounted on integrated smart poles along Phillip Street.
